According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 2 in 4 (54%) married Pakistanis admit that they have had a disagreement with their spouse on issues related to their children’s upbringing.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces who were parents were asked “How often do you disagree with your spouse on the matter of your children’s upbringing?” In response to this question, 19% Pakistanis said that they mostly disagree, 35% said that they sometimes disagree, 21% said they disagree very little while 21% said they do not disagree at all with their spouse on this matter.
