According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 2 in 5 Pakistanis (38%) say that the children in their area/neighborhood schools received corporal punishments.daily

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “We often get to hear news about instances of violence against children in government schools. Please let us know if children in your area/neighborhood schools receive corporal punishment?” In response, 38% said children received corporal punishments in their neighborhood schools, while 62% said no.
