2 in 5 Pakistanis (40%) say they are hopeful about the instances of terrorism and violence decreasing in the upcoming year.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 2 in 5 Pakistanis (40%) say they are hopeful about the instances of terrorism and violence decreasing in the upcoming year.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Do you think there will be an increase in the instances of violence and terrorism in the New Year 2018, or will they decrease?” In response, 29% said they would increase, 40% said they would decrease, 28% said no change and 3% did not know or wish to respond.
