According to a Gallup & Gilani Pakistan National Survey conducted in the year 2005 (12 years ago) respondents were asked “How much pride do you take in whatever work you are doing?” Responding to this, 35% said they took a lot of pride in their work, 54% said somewhat pride and 11% said very little pride.
Comparative Picture: The question was asked again in 2017 to enable a concrete comparison. In 2017, 21% said they took a lot of pride in their work, 54% said somewhat pride, 17% said very little pride and 8% said not at all. The survey was administered on employed Pakistanis.
The findings are available since 2005 periodically and the graph below shows how the public opinion has fluctuated over the years.
