In a Gallup & Gilani Pakistan National Survey conducted in the year 2008, respondents were asked “Do you usually have some leisure time?” In response, 63% said yes and 36% said no.
Comparative Picture: This question was asked again in 2017 to enable a comparison to be made across the years. In 2017, 68% said they have some leisure time and 32% said they don’t have any free time.
Trend Analysis: The percentage of respondents who reported having some free time has gradually increased by 5% whereas the percentage of respondents who reported having no free time has decreased by 4%. Overall almost 7 in 10 respondents report having some free time indicating work-life balance.
