(2009-2017): 3 out of 5 Pakistanis have never slept without a meal; 35% say otherwise, minor differences observed since 2009.

According to a Gallup & Gilani Pakistan National Survey conducted in the year 2009 (8 years ago) respondents were asked  “Have you ever slept without having a meal?” Responding to this, 3% said they often slept without a meal, 10% said sometimes, 22% said rarely, 64% said never.

Comparative Picture: The question was asked again in 2017 to enable a concrete comparison. In 2017, 5% said they often slept without a meal, 15% said sometimes, 22% said rarely, 58% said never.

The findings are available since 2009 periodically and the graph below shows how the public opinion has fluctuated over the years.
