2019: Close to a majority of Pakistanis claim that gender equality has been achieved somewhat or a lot at work, at home, in social settings, and in the media; fewer say the same about politics. In addition, there is a significant difference of opinion among male and female respondents on this matter.

According to a Gallup Pakistan survey, conducted as part of the Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research (WIN) International Global Survey involving more than 30,000 adults across nearly every continent, at the start of the year 2019, close to a majority of Pakistanis claim that gender equality has been achieved either somewhat or a lot at work, at home, in social settings, and in the media; fewer say the same about politics. In addition, there is a significant difference of opinion among male and female respondents on this matter.
