33% Pakistanis say they are despondent about the present government’s capability to resolve the electricity crisis in the near future.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 33% Pakistanis say they are despondent about the present government’s capability to resolve the electricity crisis in the near future.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “In your opinion how likely is it that the present Government will be able to solve electricity crisis in the country in near future?” In response, 16% said it is very much likely that the present government will be able to resolve the electricity crisis in the near future, 47% said somewhat likely, and 33% said it is improbable. 4% did not know or wish to respond.
