33% Pakistanis who faced an issue with the gas supply in their house, say they have voiced their discontentment in the last two weeks. Gas load shedding and low pressure issues were cited as the most common complaint.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 33% Pakistanis who faced an issue the with gas supply in their house, say they have voiced their discontentment in the last two weeks. Gas load shedding and low pressure issues were cited as the most common complaint.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces who answered in the affirmative about having domestic gas supply was asked “Have you complained about gas to anyone (whether friends or to the supply company) in the past two-week period?” In response, 33% said yes, while 67% said no.

Respondents who answered in the affirmative were further asked “What was your complaint about?” In response, 13% said increasing rates, 22% said problems in billing, 38% said load shedding of gas and 26% said low pressure of gas.
