According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 80% Pakistanis consider their overall quality of life to be good.
A representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Do you consider your overall quality of life to be very good, good, somewhat bad or bad?” In response, 12% said they consider their overall quality of life to be very good, 68% said they consider it good, 15% said somewhat bad, 4% said bad and 1% did not know/did not wish to respond.
Urban/Rural Breakdown: Satisfaction with quality of life in rural and urban Pakistan nearly same
Out of the total urban respondents, 79% claim they are satisfied with the overall quality of their life as opposed to a similar 80% rural respondents that are satisfied. Dissatisfaction with quality of life is also minimal with 19% urban and 20% rural respondents claiming that their quality of life is bad or very bad. Therefore, results show almost similar levels of satisfaction with overall quality of life in urban and rural areas.
