According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 54% Pakistanis say there has been no significant change in their financial situation in the last six months. 26% say it has improved whereas 20% say it has worsened.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, In the past 6 months, to what extent has your financial condition improved, worsened or has there been no significant change? Responding to this, 3% said their situation has improved a lot, 23% said it had improved whereas 54% said there has been no significant change. 16% of the respondents said their financial situation had worsened in the last 6 months and 4% replied it had worsened a lot.
