57% Pakistanis opine that educated people are more capable of choosing better leaders to govern the country than uneducated people. Only 10% disagree.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 57% Pakistanis opine that educated people are more capable of choosing better leaders to govern the country than uneducated people.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, Question: “Suppose Aslam and Wasim are two friends, Aslam is illiterate while Wasim is educated. In your view, what are the chances that Wasim is better than Aslam in different fields of life; what are the chances that Wasim is capable of choosing better leaders to govern the country than Aslam because of his education?” In response to this question, 57% said a lot, 29% said somewhat and 10% said not at all. 4% did not know or wish to respond.
