59% of all Pakistanis Claim to Face Problems Due to Early Closure of Markets

A recent Gilani poll conducted by Gallup Pakistan shows that more than half of all Pakistanis (59%) appear to be unhappy with the recent decision of the government to shut down all shopping areas at 8 pm in order to save energy, whereas another significant 40% seem to be unaffected by this decision. The remaining 1% gave no response.

The recent Gilani poll was conducted in Pakistan by Gallup Pakistan, affiliated with Gallup International Association, among a sample of 2742 men and women from rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during May 2010.
