75% Pakistanis, who voted in 2018 elections, claim that they and their family members voted for the same party.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation study on “Experience of Voters during General Elections 2018” carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 75% Pakistanis said that their family members voted for the same party as them.

This press release is 6th of a six part series of press releases from Gallup’s post-election study.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces, who claimed they had voted in general elections 2018, was asked, “Please tell did you and your family members vote for the same political party or did each individual vote for a different party?” In response to this question, 75% said that they and their family members voted for the same party, 23% said that different individuals voted for different parties while 2% did not respond to the question.
