According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, more than half (54%) Pakistanis think that even if America resumes giving aid to Pakistan, Pakistan should not accept it.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “America has stopped its aid for Pakistan. If America resumes its aid again then should Pakistan accept it?” In response, 28% said that Pakistan should accept it but a larger population, i.e. 54%, said that Pakistan should not accept it. The rest 18% said that they did not know or did not wish to respond.
