According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, both national and international intelligence agencies are seen as instruments for extra-judicial abduction of missing persons.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked. In your opinion, who is responsible for extra-judicial abduction of missing persons; national agencies, international agencies, both or some other organizations? In response to this, among those who are familiar with the issue (nearly half of the population) the suspicion is that national and international agencies are both responsible for this act (34%). 33% chose national agencies, 21% chose international agencies and 2% mentioned other organizations. However, 10% did not give a view.
