According to Pakistan Social and Living Measurement Survey analyzed by Gallup Pakistan, youth enrollment in higher education and skills training remains low in Pakistan. 10% males & 9% females, aged between 18-24 years, say they are enrolled in some higher education or skills training institute.

However, it is encouraging to see that the gender gap is very narrow at only 1%.

Provincial Breakdown: Balochistan lags behind in terms of Higher Education

Barely 3% of the respondents from Balochistan answered in the affirmative about being enrolled in either a higher education or some skills training. Meanwhile, 8% from KPK and 9% each from Sindh and Punjab said they were enrolled.
