Eid-ul-Azha: 40% Pakistanis claim to have donated animal hides to a mosque or a madrassah after the Eid-ul-Azha sacrifice.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 40% Pakistanis claim to have donated animal hides to a mosque or a madrassah after the Eid-ul-Azha sacrifice; 33% said that they did not offer any sacrifice.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “This year, who did you give animal hides to [after Eid-ul-Azha sacrifice]?” In response to this question, 40% said that they gave it to a mosque or a madrassah while 33% said that they did not offer sacrifice. 14% said that they gave animal hides to a religious or a political party and 6% mentioned giving it to Edhi Trust. 3% mentioned others and another 4% did not respond.
