The Financial Inclusion Report Wave 2 for Pakistan has been released by InterMedia USA .The fieldwork for the study in Pakistan was conducted by Gallup Pakistan (Pakistan’s foremost Social Science Research Lab). The study had its basis in a nationally representative sample of 6000 Pakistani individuals aged 15+ and involved face to face interviews, in terms of methodology. Its purpose was to track trends and market developments in DFS based on the information gathered in the first survey, conducted from November 2013 to January 2014. . Data was gathered in a number of areas: basic demographics, measurement of poverty, financial and technical literacy and mobile phone usage in addition to the information collected on the access and use of formal and informal financial institutions and services.
