According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 58% users of courts in Pakistan say that the proceedings were not impartial, or free and fair.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces who have either themselves visited the courts or had a close family member do so was asked, “Do you think that the court proceedings were unbiased, free and fair?” In response to this question, 38% said yes, 58% said no, while 4% did not know or did not wish to respond.
