According to a Gallup Pakistan National Survey conducted in the year 2005 (11 years ago) respondents were asked, “Do you usually remember your birthday or not?” In response to this question, 36% said yes they remember their birthday, while 64% said no.
Comparative Picture: The question was asked again in 2016 to enable a concrete comparison. In 2016, 44% said yes they remember their birthday, while 56% said they no.
According to public opinion, there has been an 8% increase in the proportion of Pakistanis who claim to remember their birthday and a 8% decrease in the proportion of Pakistanis who claim not to remember their birthday.
