According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 51% of Pakistanis say seasonal diseases are majorly caused by unhygienic water.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked. Normally many diseases spread in summer like Malaria, Cholera and Hepatitis etc. In your opinion what is the reason of the spread of such diseases? Responding to this, 51% claim that the major reason of seasonal diseases is use of unhygienic water, 33% believe unhygienic food to be the major reason whereas 26% claim that these diseases are caused due to trash in streets. However, 1% did not give a view. (Note: This was a multiple response question so the percentage sum may exceed 100.)
