Majority Pakistanis (51%) believe there is no harm in consuming out of season fruits and vegetables.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, majority Pakistanis (51%) believe there is no harm in consuming out of season fruits and vegetables.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Nowadays we mostly find out of season fruits and vegetables in the market. Some people think it is better to avoid them, while others think there is no harm in consuming them. In your opinion, is it right or wrong to consume out of season fruits and vegetables” In response to this question, 51% said it is right, 39% said it is wrong. 10% did not know or did not wish to respond.
