Majority Pakistanis agree with the ban on cigarette advertisements on radio and TV.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 64% Pakistanis agreed with the statement that cigarette advertisements on radio and television should be stopped; only 6% disagreed.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Cigarette advertisements on radio and television should be stopped? Regarding cigarette advertisements, 64% respondents said they agreed with the ban on cigarette advertisements on radio and television, while 27% somewhat agreed with the statement. On the other hand, 6% respondents disagreed with the statement and 3% did not respond.
