More than half Pakistanis (58%) claim non-religious shows should not be transmitted during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, more than half Pakistanis (58%) claim non-religious shows should not be transmitted during the holy month of Ramadan.

 A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “In your opinion, should religious programs only be transmitted during Ramadan transmission, or other programs should also be transmitted?” In response to this question, 58% said only religious programs should be transmitted, 28% said non-religious programs should also be transmitted, while 14% said they do not know or do not wish to respond.
