According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, near majority of Pakistanis (42%) believe it is difficult for them to remain persistently attentive for projects which take longer than a few months to complete.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “For each statement, put a number from 1 to 5 next to it to describe how accurately the statement describes you (where 1 means very accurate and 5 means very inaccurate) – It is problematic for me to maintain my attention on projects/tasks that take longer than a few months to complete.” In response to this question, 15% said very accurate, 27% said moderately accurate, 37% said neither accurate nor inaccurate, 14% said moderately inaccurate and 6% said very inaccurate. 1% did not know or wish to respond.
