Nearly half Pakistanis (47%) are of the opinion that languages other than Urdu and English should not be included in the syllabus.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, nearly half Pakistanis (47%) are of the opinion that languages other than Urdu and English should not be included in the syllabus.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “In your view, should languages other than Urdu and English be included in the syllabus?” In response to this question, 41% said yes and 47% said no. 12% did not know or did not wish to respond.
