On Making Others Offer Their Prayers: Nearly 7 in 10 Pakistanis believe that people who do not offer their prayers must be counseled to do so by means of tableegh.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, nearly 7 in 10 Pakistanis believe that people who do not offer their prayers must be counseled to do so by means of tableegh.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Should people who do not pray be punished, or counseled by means of tableegh?” In response to this question, 68% said counseled by means of tableegh, 23% said punished, while 9% did not know or did not wish to respond.
