According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 47% Pakistanis believe that the Taliban were most responsible for the terrorist attack on Army Public School on 16th December 2014.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “In your opinion, who was the most responsible for the terrorist attack on Army Public School on 16th December 2014?” In response, 47% mentioned Taliban, 22% mentioned Indian agencies, 17% mentioned American agencies and 8% mentioned Afghan agencies. 3% also mentioned Pakistani agencies and 1% mentioned Pakistan Army. 2% gave other responses.
