Overwhelming majority of Pakistanis feel that Afghan refugees should go back to Afghanistan.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 80% Pakistanis said that Afghan refugees should go back to their own country; 20% said that they should stay in Pakistan.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “Do you think Afghan refugees should stay in Pakistan or should they go back to their own country?” In response to this question, 80% respondents said that Afghan refugees should go back to Afghanistan, while 20% respondents said that Afghan refugees should stay in Pakistan.
