According to a Gallup & Gilani Pakistan National Survey conducted in the year 2015 (03 years ago) respondents were asked, “What is your opinion about the performance of Ashraf Ghani (President of Afghanistan) in the last year?” In response to this question, 3% said it was very good, 17% it was good, 28% said it was appropriate, 23% said it was bad, 15% said it was very bad while 14% did not know or respond to the question.
Comparative Picture: The question was asked again in 2018 to enable a concrete comparison. In 2018, 6% said it was very good, 16% it was good, 20% said it was appropriate, 26% said it was bad, 20% said it was very bad while 12% did not know or respond to the question.
According to public opinion, there has been 8% increase in the proportion of Pakistanis who think that Ashraf Ghani’s performance has been bad (very bad, bad, while 2% increase in the proportion of Pakistanis who think that its performance was good since 2015.
