According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 4 in 5 Pakistanis believe that Pakistan has good (very or somewhat good) relations with other South Asian countries.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Turning now to Pakistan’s relations with other countries in South Asia including: India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Burma/ Myanmar, Bhutan, the Maldives and Afghanistan. Do you personally think Pakistan has good relations or poor relations with most of these countries in South Asia? And is that very or somewhat?” In response to this question, 23% said very good, 59% said somewhat good, 14% said somewhat poor and 3% said very poor. 1% did not know or did not wish to respond.
