Sweeping majority (90%) Pakistanis agrees that to curtail terrorism, it is important to prohibit Afghan residents from entering Pakistani borders without visa.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 90% Pakistanis believe that it is important to forbid Afghan residents to enter Pakistani borders without a visa in order to curtail terrorism in the country.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “In order to curtail terrorism in the country, it is important to forbid Afghan residents from entering Pakistani borders without a visa. Please tell, to what extent do you agree or disagree with this?” In response to this question, 67% agree a lot, 23% agree to an extent while 7% disagree to an extent and 2% disagree a lot.
