37% Pakistanis believe that the country’s biggest current problem is inflation.


According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 37% Pakistanis believe that the biggest current problem Pakistan is facing is inflation; 30% believe that it is unemployment.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “According to you what is the biggest problem facing Pakistan currently?” In response to this question, 37% Pakistanis said that the biggest national problem is currently inflation, 30% said that it is unemployment, 18% said that it is terrorism, 8% said that it is some foreign threat, 5% said that Kashmir is the biggest national problem while 1% of the respondents mentioned others and 1% did not respond.
