A significant majority of mobile phone users in Pakistan (62%) say they allow other people to use their phones. More females (73%) than males (58%) report the same

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, a significant majority of mobile phone users in Pakistan (62%) say they allow other people to use their phones.

A representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, Is anyone else allowed to use your mobile phone?” In response, 62% said yes while 38% said no.

Gender Breakdown: Out of the female mobile phone users that responded, 73% said they allow someone else to use their phone while a much lower 58% males said they allow someone else to use their phone.

Age Breakdown: Out of the total mobile users that responded, 59% of those under 30 years agreed while 64% from between 30 and 50 years and 61% of those over the age of 50 said they allow someone else to use their mobile phone.
