Near equal proportion of mobile phone users in Pakistan report being either very dependent (29%) or not at all dependent (27%) on their mobile phones

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, near equal proportion of mobile phone users in Pakistan report being either very dependent (29%) or not at all dependent (27%) on their mobile phones.

A representative sample of men and women mobile users from across the four provinces was asked, Please indicate the extent to which you feel you are dependent on your mobile phone?” In response, 29% said a lot, 44% said somewhat and 27% said not at all.

Urban-Rural Breakdown: More rural respondents reported being both very dependent on their mobile phones (32%) and not at all dependent on their mobile phones (29%).
